Fair questions, straight answers.
How do I cancel a web subscription?
Email support@joyfulmuslims.com from the email you used at checkout and we cancel promptly — you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Full details are in the Subscription Terms.
I paid on the web — how does it reach my phone?
Your membership is matched to your checkout email. Install the app and sign in with that email — Sign in with Apple works if it’s the same email, or use “Forgot password” to set one — and everything unlocks.
What’s free, exactly?
Every audiobook is open to hear, with 5 listening hours each month — plus the whole Qurʾān, prayer times and the qiblah, the Lantern’s lamp, Moments, the weekly drop, and your first Masterclass lesson. A free account, no card.
How is the narration made?
Candidly: the narration is an AI voice, produced under our documented method — Islamic honorifics spoken in full, Arabic names pronounced correctly — and reviewed before release. Judge for yourself: play the Living Manuscript demo, or read how we translate and narrate.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Both. One account — join once, sign in on either, and your library, progress, and membership follow you.
What are Keys and Book Packages?
A Book Package is the complete companion book — the full Arabic text and our unabridged English translation as beautifully set PDFs, yours to keep. Buy one for $4.99 on the web bookstore — it appears on your BOOKS shelf in the app, yours to keep. One-time purchases, never a subscription. In-app unlocking with Keys arrives with the next app update.
Which madhhab do you follow?
Mainstream Sunni scholarship. Every claim is anchored in the Qurʼān, the authentic Sunnah, and the four madhāhib — read our method.
إِذَا مَاتَ الإِنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ
“When a person dies, their deeds end — except three: a continuing charity, knowledge that benefits, and a righteous child who prays for them.”
Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim
